About the Agency
....it all started unexpectedly while making memories
Castles & Cruises Travel Agency was founded by Stephanie Strauch, in small town Hazlehurst, Georgia. After planning her own family's trip to Disney World, she realized had a knack for planning & travel, and wanted to help others:
"I hadn't been to Disney since 1988, so needless to say A LOT had changed from when I went. I started booking our trip and quickly became overwhelmed with everything. Between park reservations, sit down dining reservations, Quick Service dining, Magic Bands, Lightening Lanes, Genie Plus, Memory Maker, Disney Springs, whether to stay on resort or off site, parking, and how not to get lost in the process I thought 'what did we just get ourselves into?!' I researched and studied everything about Disney for HOURS and HOURS trying to prepare ourselves. (We actually were surprising our 3 boys with a trip for Christmas - so I felt it HAD to be perfect, no pressure, right?!
Needless to say, we managed to ride EVERY ride we wanted to, WITHOUT Genie Plus, and I even snagged some last minute dining reservations for Space 220, Be Our Guest & Chef Mickey's, among others. WE HAD A BALL ON OUR TRIP!
On the way home I told my husband I had a lot of fun planning our trip, and was interested in becoming a travel agent for Disney. From that moment in our truck, the dream was born. I quietly worked on obtaining all the different licenses, insurance & training I needed to start my own Travel Agency."
Since Stephanie started the Agency, she has successfully grown the Agency's client base, ranging from a multitude of different types of trips.
"We don't JUST do Disney. I love Disney, and because of it this business was formed, but we help plan it all!"
From overnight business trips, Universal Studios, Carnival Cruises, Sandals Resorts, cross country road trips, Castles and Cruises Travel Agency has planned it.
"My goal would be to keep building the business, and keep helping families plan their vacations. It can be stressful enough getting ready to go on vacation....just leave the stress to us, and we'll book and plan it for you! Nothing makes me happier than to hear our clients say how much fun their trip was, or how many memories they made. In a way, we were a part of making those memories happen, and to me, that's really special."
